26. The Kindness of Strangers

This episode, I have a number of interesting volunteers and visitors, who help me out with various aspects of the project – a welding machine, a sign for the shed, some much-needed modifications to the massive ship-saw, a forklift service, and a ride in a classic muscle car. Meanwhile, I continue lofting inside the shed, and we are nearly ready to start re-framing!

  1. My son Sam living in NZ introduced me to the Tally Ho videos. They have now gone viral with their introduction to friends and friends friends and friends friends friends !
Leo Sampson has brought an extraordinary amount of sheer joy to so many of us with his very professional videos, his infectious enthusiasm and ‘can do’ attitude. His skills are inspirational and educational and were I much younger he would inspire me to follow a similar path.
    With gratitude.

  2. Love the videos, hate having to be patient for the next fix. My earliest memory of my dad 50 to 60 years ago is watching him draw plans at night on a card table at home for his yard in Salcombe (the biggest they built was 42 foot). Now I understand so much better, thank you for that. Btw, he hated white lines down the middle of roads that were not fair (or as he called them, sweet) curves.
